We spent a week exploring the Desolation Wilderness, taking several smaller sub-trips to visit the Meeks Creek Trail, Wrights Lake, the Rubicon Trailhead by Loon Lake, the Twin Lakes Trail, and the trail to Eagle Falls and Eagle Lake. Sometimes we did dayhikes. sometimes backpacking, and sometimes we were lazy and drove the car. But we always managed to have fun.
